Missions and Outreach

Our desire at Bethel Bible Church is to fulfill God’s command to “go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that [He has] commanded [us]” (Matthew 28:19-20). God’s Word tells us that we are to be goers or senders or we are being disobedient. We pray that Bethel Bible Church would be obedient in fulfilling the Lord’s command in regard to Missions.

Bethel currently supports Glory Reborn, a ministry located in Cebu City, Philippines which focuses on providing maternity care to the poorest of the poor. In addition to meeting these physical needs, Glory Reborn seeks to provide hope through the gospel.

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. -Psalm 67:1-4

It is also our desire to be obedient to the command of God in Hebrews 13:3 to ‘remember those who are in prison’ and ‘those who are mistreated’. One way that we do this is through ministries like Voice of the Martyrs and Prisoner Alert.

Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. -Hebrews 13:3

In addition to Global Missions, Bethel Bible Church is involved in various local ministries, seeking to help and meet needs wherever we can.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. – Matthew 25:35-36
